Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Cardiac Coherence (“the App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), provided by Vincent Charmeau, handles your information.

The short version: the App runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. We operate no servers, and we use no analytics or advertising SDKs.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. The App has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

To work as a breathing companion, the App keeps a small amount of information locally on your iPhone (and, if you use it, your Apple Watch). This includes:

  • Your session history, such as completed sessions, session durations, total practice time, and streaks.
  • Your preferences, such as breathing pattern, session length, sounds, haptics, and reminder times.
  • Whether you have an active subscription and how many free sessions you have used.

This information never leaves your device except as described in sections 3 and 4 below. It is deleted when you delete the App. Note that data you chose to save to Apple Health remains in Apple Health under your control (see section 3).

3. Apple Health (Optional)

You may choose to connect the App to Apple Health. If you do, finished breathing sessions are saved to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. The App only writes this data; it does not read any data from Apple Health. You can revoke this permission at any time in the Health app or in Settings on your device, and you can delete the saved entries from the Health app. Health data is handled by Apple on your device and is never sent to us.

4. Apple Watch

If you use the Cardiac Coherence Watch app, your session history and preferences are synced directly between your iPhone and your Apple Watch using Apple's device-to-device connection. This sync does not pass through any server operated by us.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Some features may require a paid subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, and Apple's payment terms and privacy policy apply. We never see your payment details.
  • To verify and manage subscriptions, the App uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, app-generated identifier and App Store purchase information (such as product identifier, purchase and expiration dates, and Apple's transaction receipt). It does not receive your name, email address, or session history. For more information, see RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
  • Apple may provide us with aggregated, non-identifying sales and download statistics through App Store Connect.

6. Reminders and Notifications

If you turn on practice reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications are created and delivered entirely on your device; no notification data is sent to us.

7. Third-Party Services

  • We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not sell your data.
  • The only third parties involved are Apple (App Store, Apple Health, Apple Watch, and notifications) and RevenueCat (subscription management), as described above.

8. Legal Bases (EEA/UK users)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom: the limited subscription information shared with RevenueCat is processed because it is necessary to perform our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), namely providing the subscription you purchased. All other information stays on your device and is not processed by us.

9. Data Security

Because your information is stored only on your device, it is protected by your device's own security features, such as your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID, and by your device backups. We recommend keeping your device up to date and protected with a passcode.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Your session history and preferences remain on your device for as long as the App is installed. Deleting the App removes this information. Entries you saved to Apple Health can be deleted from the Health app. Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained according to their respective policies.

11. Your Rights and Choices

  • You can view and delete your data at any time by deleting the App, and you can manage Apple Health entries in the Health app.
  • You can disable Apple Health access and reminders at any time in your device settings.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we hold no personal data about you, most of these rights are fulfilled directly by you on your device. For questions, contact us at the address below.

12. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.

13. International Transfers

We do not transfer your personal data internationally because we do not collect it. RevenueCat may process the limited subscription information described above on servers outside your country, subject to appropriate safeguards under its own policies.

14. Terms of Use

Your use of the App is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this page, and the effective date above will be updated. If changes are material, we will take additional steps as required by law.
